How will you remember your child’s handwriting?

Throughout their education your child will spend a copious amount of time perfecting their handwriting through templates and writing exercises. Right now your child might be struggling to perfect the curves of the letter S when down the road they will be learning how to connect every word in elegant cursive.

By the time they are an adult they will have an entirely new style of handwriting than they did when they started. The most special part of someone’s handwriting is that it’s entirely unique to them, much like a fingerprint.

Similar to other skills taught in school, each child has their own spin or uniqueness that separates their handwriting from someone else’s. For your child that might be the uneven way that they cross their T or dot the letter i. Why not start saving those memories to reminisce on later?

While paper can accumulate quickly it would still be a wonderful idea to preserve your child’s youth writing style. Down the road you can display their handwriting in photo books, as an accent on pictures, and more!

An alternative to saving all of their physical handwriting examples is to take pictures of their work and save it to an album on your phone. This way you will be able to browse their writing development and distribute it efficiently to all of your family and friends.

But our ideas and creativity don’t stop there! Another suggestion is to save handwritten cards or letters from loved ones as they age, this will provide you with the unique opportunity to preserve their unique handwriting for a lifetime. Someday these memories will be priceless.
